The minute you step on the University of Memphis campus you know you are in tiger territory! We are honored to work the University of Memphis Parent Fund. They are offering three different levels of gifts when a donation is made to the fund. Each donation helps to continue the services provided to the parents of University of Memphis students and increase our efforts to help students. It has been a pleasure to work with Meta Laabs and Lindsey Bray. These are the steps that I took in this partnership.
Learn About The Parent Fund
I was invited to meet Meta and Lindsey in their office in the Administration Building. I learned that the University of Memphis Parent Fund wanted to create a fundraiser to help them continue to provide excellent parent services. These are some of the things that greeted me.
Create a Business Model
Classic Legacy specializes in creating custom gifts and gifts with themes. Our tiger theme gifts are popular at many universities and colleges that have tiger mascots. We can adapt the accent colors. Our tigers are all generic and perfect to celebrate in “tiger territory”. The parent fund wanted a way to thank their donors when a gift was given. I agreed to provide them with photos of all the gifts so they could post them on their website. They chose groups of the gifts for various levels of donation. Classic Legacy agreed to drop ship these gifts directly to the donors of the Parent Fund. We like to be flexible and create a plan that works for our clients!
Promote the Plan
I appreciate the University of Memphis promoting the plan. I now follow the University of Memphis on several twitter accounts as well as Facebook pages. I’ve also posted these on our Pinterest page that features many of the colleges and universities that Classic Legacy partners with. Let’s get the word out and support the University of Memphis Parent Fund!……and you will receive some wonderful tiger gifts!
