We just introduced our new line of the Collector’s Theme Jewelry.   This line is designed and handcrafted in the USA by the Classic Legacy team.   To best compliment this new collection I wanted to create displays that would be helpful to our retail partners.  I wanted to share with you some behind the scene steps that were taken to create the Classic Legacy displays that are handcrafted in the USA.

1.  Tools to Cut and Form the Displays

We use a wonderful electric saw to measure and cut the displays.   This tool is a great help.

2.  The boards are Assembled

The boards are carefully nailed together to form the base of the wedge display. This is how the unpainted displays look after they are assembled.

3.  The Wooden Base is Painted

The wooden base of each display is painted.

4.  Custom Blacksmiths Forge the Iron Rack Display

We drew the design and then took it to a blacksmith to execute our design for the rack that holds the necklaces and bracelets.   This is a very sturdy display that will last in a retail store!

5.  Final Assembly of the Display for Collector’s Theme Jewelry

Four screws are used to attach the back rack to the wooden base.   Two trays with divided compartments hold each of the unique charms and charm clusters for the Classic Legacy jewelry collection.   Our retail partners are really complimenting us on this display.   We are proud that it is made in the USA!

5 Displays by Classic Legacy That Help Retailers Sell

One of the goals of Classic Legacy is to assist retailers in marketing.   I want the retailers that Classic Legacy serves to be successful.   Effective displays help retailers succeed.   Our new line of Collector’s Theme jewelry is vintage inspired.   Here are five examples of displays that were designed to help our retail partners.

1.  Display Card for Jewelry

Our display card for our new line utilizes the image of an antique French passport.   Look carefully and you will see the Classic Legacy stamp.   The card is sized to fit into each compartment of the trays.  The look compliments many of the interiors of retail stores.   It showcases the vintage inspired Classic Legacy charms.

2.  Display Trays for Charms

We wanted to provide an easy tray system for retailers to display our charms.  Each tray holds 12 charms and is the perfect way to showcase both the small individual charms as well as the charm clusters.

3.  Wedge Display for Tray

Often just a little tilt is helpful to showcase product.   This wedge holds a single tray and is the perfect way to highlight Classic Legacy Charms.   This tray is often combine with the small necklace display shown in number 4.

4.  Simple Iron Necklace Display

Classic Legacy offers this simple necklace display .   It  is so versatile and has 12 hooks for lots of necklaces and bracelets.

5.  Double Wedge Display with Iron Rack for Necklaces

Our best-selling pre-pack  comes with this free display.   The display is a wedge that holds two trays and has multiple hooks to hold all the different styles of Classic Legacy necklaces and bracelets.  This display is only 16″ x 16″ x 22″ and brings everything together in one convenient place.

Displays for Personalized Gifts and Jewelry in Retail Stores

Diane’s Gift Emporium in Germantown, TN  is one of my favorite stores.   I enjoy going inside to discover new treasures.   I think one reason that it is so inviting is that they use creative displays.   Diane’s carries a broad range of gifts including Classic Legacy jewelry.   Here are some ideas for displays and signs that I especially like.

I have done this for displays at market and it has been a success.   Take an old frame and remove the glass.   Get a new piece of wire mesh and staple it into the inside of the frame.   …..an instant display that is useful and attractive.

This mannequin I can tell serves many purposes.   I love the colorful scarf…..and I love how it is tied.    That is one of my favorite ways to change an outfit ….with a scarf.

I’ve found that anything with openings is perfect for a display.   This birdcage has lots of character and works as a great display for necklaces and bracelets.   Look around your house and you will be amazed at some good displays for your store.    I’ve used clocks, statues, plates, flower pots, and books.

Space is Important when designing displays

We realize that retail space is prime real estate.   Our new bangle bracelets that we will be introducing for Spring are shown at market on a vertical display.   We had this especially made for Classic Legacy.   It only takes up 4″ of counter top space and allows for stacking of the bracelets making a colorful display.    We make this display available with purchase of the bracelets.   When you think you don’t have room for anything more…..think vertical and remember to stack colorful items for a big impact.

Personalized Gifts get Personalized Display

Displays are important!   We used this box to highlight the custom Memphis letter openers and bookmarks.   Personalized gifts need to be shown.   Booksellers at Laurelwood is  a bookstore that is a favorite Memphis landmark.   Children come for story time, adults come to read, shop, and eat……and maybe even have a glass of wine in the future.    The Booksellers of Laurelwood realized that local Memphians are important to the success of the bookstore and they like Memphis gifts.  Classic Legacy  designed a wonderful collection of Memphis personalized gifts.  This display for the custom letter opener and bookmarks is perfect to highlight these custom gifts.

Jewelry Displays that are Creative Sell Classic Legacy Earrings

Displays are so important.  Classic Legacy earrings are some of our best-selling items.    We have new art inspired cards for each earring.  Cards are each different and as a group make a statement of uniqueness and fun as well as fashion.   Here are some things to remember when considering displays:

Color is important for Displays

We have found that color just catches everyone’s eye.   Our new cards for the earrings are made of art paper.   Each card is different and most have designs on the front as well as the back.  We picked colors that everyone likes such as Peridot green, azure blue, peppermint pink, and butter yellow.   Dots, stripes, swirls, and all sorts of patterns are included.  It makes for a happy mix.

Function is important

Displays can look wonderful but if the customer has a difficult time actually reaching for the product you have defeated your purpose.   Our colorful art cards have the classic J tab on the back.   We order these by the thousands and they sure come in handy for so many displays.   They work on almost all earring displays.

Height attracts attention and Saves Space

We know that retailers have limited counter space.  That is why height for displays is always a good idea.   This iron display has four sides that can be loaded with product.   It is also a good design because it is tall and the footprint of counter space that it requires is small.   Think about those things when you are looking for a display.

Paris inspires Creative Displays by Classic Legacy

I have never been to Paris but I LOVE Paris.   I recently saw the movie Midnight in Paris.   If you like a good story, great music, and beautiful scenery this movie is for you.   After a few days I realized that so many of the Classic Legacy gifts and jewelry are designed with Paris in mind.   This Eiffel Tower wire statue was originally a clock.   I turned it into a display for earrings.     I bought the “Eiffel Tower”  at an estate sale.

The flower-pot is interesting and shows off the necklace with the Eiffel medallion.  Think outside the box to find interesting displays!

With Paris in mind take time this summer for a glass of your favorite wine and use our Paris theme bottle stopper.

Unique displays sell jewelry and custom gifts.   I love to see products placed on unusual and interesting displays.   Our bracelets and necklaces are some of our best sellers.   We have found many unique displays that are within everyone’s reach.   We have received positive feedback on these ideas!

  1. These books are some of my favorites.  I love the old bindings.  They make a fabulous display for necklaces…..check out antique stores and flea markets.  Be sure to check out all our necklaces.

This candle is made of real wax but instead of a wick has a small battery.   Our new bracelet with jewel tone settings and silver links fits around it perfectly.   It is an eye catcher and sometimes we even turn the “flame” on to really add interest to the bracelet.   Here is a link to more bracelets.

Spring Displays for Custom Wine Gifts

Custom gifts get noticed with this Spring display.  Unique displays bring attention to products.    Spring is such a happy time.  We created this simple display that really gets noticed.   Retailers that are successful in drawing customer’s attention often use simple tools for display such as a flower-pot.   Here is how I made this display.

  1. Use a small clay flower-pot.
  2. Fill the pot with Styrofoam.
  3. Cover the top of the Styrofoam with artificial leaves.
  4. Poke a hole in the center of the Styrofoam
  5. Decorated the edge of the flowerpot with ribbon of your choice
  6. “Plant” the bottle stopper and it will be noticed!

      Classic Legacy Display Custom Marble CollectionClassic Legacy’s new marble collection is a hit!   We have the ability to print your logo, photograph, or painting on marble.   Just send us your jpg and we will email you back a screen sample  to show you how your image  will look.   Displays are important for your customers.   We found a great terra-cotta planter and added styrofoam covered with artificial leaves.  Then we added the bottle stoppers.
