Classic Legacy was commissioned in 2009, by Borsheims to design custom bottle stoppers for the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting. This year we were again honored to be chosen. One theme shows Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger with baseball caps. Our favorite is the very latest design which depicts Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger as railroad engineers! This is in celebration of Berkshire Hathaway's new acquisition of Burlington Northern Railroad. I just read Richard Vinhais's blog about his experience at the shareholders meeting. It is business experience that so many cherish. We enjoy learning about the needs of our customers and being able to creatively help them market their business with innovative products. Classic Legacy specializes in themes and custom design. It was a natural for us to develop an Equestrian Gift line after learning of the 2010 Equestrian Olympics to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. We have done much research and after input from many of our "horse" customers have created an elegant classic line representing the major Equestrian disciplines. We also have the ability to use your photos or paintings and create custom gifts such as what we have done for Belle Meade Plantation in Nashville with the horse Iroquois. Iroquois, the most famous horse of the 1880s and ‘90s, was a product of Belle Meade. He was the first American-born horse to win the English Derby. Classic Legacy is known as the "go to" company to produce custom gifts and we count that has an honor and privledge.

I received an email last week from Candy of Borsheim's Jewelry Store that really meant so much. "Catherine, Thank you for the wonderful service. We received the bottle stoppers yesterday and everybody thinks they are going to be a big hit." We had just shipped 500 custom bottle stoppers for the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders. Borsheim's asked if we could help them develop their theme of "cowboy" and then gave us the fun image of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger. Our graphic artist, Beth, changed their ties to bolo ties and added cowboy hats. Each bottle stopper is embellished with the custom charm along with a cowboy boot and cowboy hat. These custom bottle stoppers are going to be collector's items for the 2009 shareholders meeting. They are currently on their website and the buyer is already mentioning if sales keep at the current pace they will have to re-order. All of us at Classic Legacy try to go the extra mile to create special gifts. What really meant so much to me was Candy's email of thanks. I'm going to remember that and tell all the people that help me everyday thank-you. It is a good lesson to remember.
